Winners of the Semifinal of the II International Competition of Projects of Students and Young Scientists “SMART CITY 2030: Sustainable Development Management of Cities in the BRICS Countries”
We are delighted to announce the winners of the semifinal stage of the II International Competition of Projects of Students and Young Scientists “SMART CITY 2030: Sustainable Development Management of Cities in the BRICS Countries.”
Organized by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (Russia) in collaboration with Lovely Professional University (India), the Russian Institute of Tsinghua University (China), and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the competition brings together talented young innovators from across the BRICS countries to design the cities of the future.
This year’s semifinalists have demonstrated outstanding creativity and analytical depth in addressing the urgent challenges of sustainable urban development. Their projects cover key directions of the competition—intellectual and creative city development, safe and comfortable urban environments, smart city technologies and services, and sustainable energy and transport infrastructure.
The expert jury evaluated all projects based on innovation, feasibility, relevance to urban development goals, and contribution to sustainability.
The semifinal winners have successfully proposed practical and visionary solutions for cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive cities across the BRICS region.
Congratulations to all semifinal winners!
We look forward to welcoming the finalists at the grand finale on October 28, 2025, held in a hybrid format during the AICGS-2025 Conference at Lovely Professional University, India, where the top projects will be presented and awarded international recognition.
